I had a blast illustrating this parody toy catalog from the twisted, hilarious minds of Asterios Kokkinos and editors of THE DEVASTATOR.

The concept of a catalog from a company that only provides the most violent, insane, and controversial toys was introduced in THE DEVASTATOR #9, a since retired quarterly zine that satirized every corner of pop culture. I provided a four page layout for what was then titled, Toys “4” Cheep which I illustrated, designed, and colored. Soon after the zine was released,THE DEVASTATOR editors brought me on to illustrate and design a full book based on the concept.

I focused on creating the vibe of an 80s toy catalog, an era when toys were royalty and all bets were off in terms of safety. The writing from Asterios made me laugh every step of the way and I loved the off-putting colors from Songwut Ouppakarndee.
